Sentinels of the Sierra

Sentinels of the Sierra is a book project encompassing the 26 conifer tree species found in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. The project, when finished, will provide identification information about the trees and the ecosystems and wildlife they support. Funding for this project was provided by the UCSB Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Grant.

This project is ongoing. Prints are available in standard sizes!

The Mountain

The Mountain is a one-of-a-kind artist book, digitally printed on a salvaged geophysical survey map. The text was written by the artist and inspired by Mt. Dana in Tuolumne Meadows.

The book was finished in 2019 and bought by the UCSB Library's Special Collections Department.

Wasteland

Wasteland is an edition of three artists books, digitally printed on handmade recycled rag paper and featuring text from the 2018 Cimate Report, found poetry from the bestselling book Earth in the Balance, and photos taken by the artist.

The final edition of the book was completed in 2019.
